Recipe: Milk Toast

A sister in our ward brought us some homemade bread for Christmas. So for the last three days I've been having milk toast for breakfast. It's one of my favorite breakfasts.

INGREDIENTS
  • 2 slices homemade bread
  • 1½ cups milk
  • sugar to taste
  • cinnamon to taste
DIRECTIONS

Toast and butter the bread. Heat up the milk.[1] Break the bread into 1-inch squares in a bowl. Pour the hot milk in. Sprinkle with sugar and cinnamon. Add more as needed.


Yum!


Notes:

[1] I do 2 minutes on high in the microwave.

  1. This is my favorite breakfast! When we were little we only got one dusting of sugar and cinnamon, but now that I make my own breakfast I put more on after each layer I eat. MMMM!!!
