Good Company

There are lots of health benefits to a vegetarian diet, including improved cardiovascular health; reduced incidence of Alzheimer's disease, diabetes, and certain types of cancer; and a longer lifespan.[1]

Sounds pretty good, right?

Well, I was thinking about it and, despite the health benefits of being a vegetarian, carnivores find themselves in much better company.

Observe:

A Tyrannosaurus rex vs. a cow

A great white shark vs. a blobfish

A tiger vs. a pocket gopher

In every case the carnivore is cooler. And in every case the carnivore would win a battle to the death. So you've gotta ask yourself. Which would you rather be? The winner or the loser?

Isn't a heart attack or two worth it?

Notes:

(though apparently being a vegan is no better than a typical American diet).
